Moderator Panel
A live view of your ER:LC server for your moderation team.
1. What it is
The Moderator Panel is where your moderators watch the server as it happens: who is in game, what is going on, and the tools to act on it. Everything updates live.
2. Opening it
You need the Moderator Panel permission. Open it with the Moderator panel button on your server’s card on the dashboard, or run /mod-panel in your Discord server to get a link.
The panel needs your ER:LC server key. Without it you will see Connect your ER:LC server. Add the key in ER:LC Integration.
3. Players in-game
Lists everyone in the server right now. Click a player to open their profile:
- their Roblox name, ID and whether they are in game,
- their vehicle, and their last known location (road or postal) with a pin on the Live Map,
- their Discord account, if they linked one with Grande,
- their playtime on your server, with a yearly activity chart.
4. The live feed
What’s happening in game? shows kills, joins and leaves, commands and mod calls as they happen. When someone calls !mod, the call appears with who made it; once a staff member goes to it, that moderator is shown underneath saying they responded to the call. Use the search box to find a player or command, and the filter button to choose which log types to show.
Logs aren’t removed as new ones arrive. Grande saves every log for 7 days, even when no session is running, and loads older ones as you scroll to the bottom of the feed (or press Load older logs). Search and the log type filter look through the saved logs too. Logs from a session itself are kept for 90 days in Session History.
5. Punishment logs
Use Create New Log to record a punishment. Type the player’s name and press Enter to open their user panel, then fill in:
- Type: Note, Warning, Kick, Ban Bolo or Ban.
- Reason: write anything you like, or press the book in the corner of the box to pick a preset.
- Add description and Upload image (max 2): only with Grande+, when your server allows them. See Punishments.
Press Create Log. The form clears and the log appears in that player’s logs. The main panel lists everyone’s logs under Punishment Logs, with a search box (press Ctrl+F to jump to it) and a filter button. The filter lets you narrow logs by Types (pick several), Staff Member (each person is shown with their picture, username and when they joined your panel), Created Before, Created After and Reason, and Clear filters puts everything back. A log is a record, so pressing it does nothing; pressing a player’s name opens their quick actions (kick, ban, view Roblox profile and more), and from there you can open their user panel. Each log shows who made it (their Roblox name in bold if they linked one, with their Discord username under it), the player, their Roblox Player ID (with a copy button), the reason, and how many punishments that player had before it. The three dots on a log open Edit and Delete Log. You need the Warn, Kick, Ban, Ban BOLO or Note (for that log type), Edit Log or Delete Log permission for each.
6. The toolbox
- Run Command opens Virtual Server Management. Pick Admin, Mod or Roleplay, press a command to fill it in, add the player name or text, then press Run command. Admin commands need the ER:LC Admin permission.
:shutdownasks you to click twice. - Request Staff asks your staff to join you in-game. It needs the Request Staff permission, and staff requests must be turned on in Staff Requests. If you do not have the permission the button is greyed out.
- Kick and ban limits: to protect your server, remote kicks and bans are limited to 3 players a minute, and commands that kick or ban everyone (such as
:kick allor:ban all) are blocked and never sent to the game. - Manage Session opens the session manager. It needs the Manage Sessions permission.
- Start Shift starts your shift. While you are on shift, Start Break and End Shift appear with a timer. See Shifts and Activity.
7. Customize your layout
Press the layout button at the top and drag the blocks wherever you want them, widen a column or stretch a list. Press it again, then Save Changes. Every moderator keeps their own layout.
8. Other things in the header
- Switch server moves to another panel you can moderate.
- The bell shows notifications.
- The connection status shows whether you are connected to the real-time moderator panel.
9. If something does not work
- Connect your ER:LC server: the panel has no working key. Add or replace it in ER:LC Integration.
- ER:LC rejected the saved key: the key changed. Add the new one.
- The server is offline or has no players: start the server, or wait for players to join.
- ER:LC is busy: Grande reconnects on its own.
- I can’t open it: you need the Moderator Panel permission.
