VC Server Status
Voice channels that automatically update with your server’s numbers.
1. What it does
VC Server Status is a Grande+ feature. Grande renames two voice channels in your Discord server so everyone can see how busy your ER:LC server is without opening the game: one for the player count (like 🎮 | ERLC: 12/50) and one for the queue (like ⏳ | In Queue: 5). Open Discord Integration › Channels and scroll to VC Server Status. You need the Discord Integration permission and a linked ER:LC API key.
2. Setting it up
- Make a voice channel for each number you want. You can use only one of them.
- Choose them as the Playercount VC Channel and the Queue VC Channel. Press the refresh button if you just made a channel, or the X to clear one.
- Set the Playercount Prefix and Queue Prefix. This is the text before the numbers. Grande adds the numbers for you, so 🎮 | ERLC: becomes 🎮 | ERLC: 12/50.
- Choose the Update Speed in minutes. The lowest is 1 minute.
- Press Save Changes. Grande needs the Manage Channels permission for those voice channels.
3. Discord’s rename limit
Discord only lets a channel be renamed about twice every 10 minutes. Grande only renames a channel when the text changes, and if Discord says to wait, Grande waits and tries again. Because of that, a channel can be a few minutes behind when your numbers change quickly, no matter how fast the Update Speed is.
4. If something does not work
- Nothing changes: check that your ER:LC API key is linked and that Grande has View Channel and Manage Channels on the voice channel.
- VC Server Status is a Grande+ feature: the settings are locked until the panel has Grande+.
- One of those channels is not in your Discord server: choose again, and press refresh.
