Discord Integration
Nicknames
Choose how Discord nicknames change while members are on shift, on a break or on leave.
1. What it does
Open Discord Integration › Nicknames. You need the Discord Integration permission. Type a prefix for each situation and Grande adds it to a member’s Discord nickname while it applies:
- On Shift Nickname: the prefix while a member is on shift.
- On Break Nickname: the prefix while a member is on a break during their shift.
- On LOA Nickname: the prefix while a member is on leave of absence.
Each prefix can be up to 24 characters. Press Save Changes when you are done.
The shift and break prefixes are used by Shifts and Activity. Leave of absence is not available yet, so the LOA prefix is saved but not used until it is.
2. Grande+ Bot Nickname
On servers with Grande+, Grande’s bot changes its own picture to the Grande+ logo and its name to Grande+ in your Discord server. If you would rather keep the normal look, turn on Disable Grande+ Bot Rename and press Save Changes. The bot goes back to its normal name and picture straight away.
Force resync bot profile makes Grande set the picture and name again, for example if someone changed them by hand. It can be used once an hour, and it uses the saved setting, so save first if you just changed it.
Grande needs the Change Nickname permission in your server to change its name. Without it, only the picture changes.
3. If something does not work
- Grande can’t change the nickname of the server owner, or of anyone with a role above Grande’s own role. Move Grande’s role up in Discord.
- To set members’ nicknames to their Roblox name when they verify, use the nickname option in Verification.
